My friend Corrine gave me this award. She is a very good and dedicated blogger...much better than me!
Anyway, I love reading every one's blog. It is so wonderful to see all the fun things that everyone is up to, all our little friends growing up, wild adventures and everyday life!! I decided to pass the award to a few others...
These blogs usually inspire me to comments which is unusual for me (thanks to Google reader). Tonia, who has really found her blogging voice :), Melinda, Lindsey and Michele whose posts always make me feel like I could have written them, Marci because she is the best at insightful humor and Jet who post way more interesting things than normal people ;)

Here are your rules for receiving the award...
1. The winner can put the logo on her/his blog.
2. Link the person you received the award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the persons you've nominated.

End of an Era...

It is the end of our home owning era. Everything is done (hopefully). The boys are pretty upset. All summer long they have been asking to go back to our old house. They seem to think that having more room and a trampoline was a lot more fun. This was a awesome house. I really wanted to the house to sell of course, but part of me is very sad. It is the part that realizes we can't ever go back. It was small house but still wonderful....goodbye house....

At Rock Canyon Park with second cousins :)

Family Reunion...

Hyrum's 6th Birthday Party....

And just a lot of fun (and noise)!!

I am not happy...stupid Warner Bros!! The new Harry Potter movie was suppose to come out Nov 21st but now Warner Brothers has decided to hold it till next summer because the writer's strike left them without any good movies for next summer. As if the writer's strike wasn't bad enough when The Office went off for most of the season. I dislike the writer's and I dislike the stupid people who didn't just give the writer's their money and I dislike Warner Bros very much right now!! I don't see many movies and this was (key word WAS) the only one I was going to see this year.
I know a lot of you are excited about the Twilight movie. All the YW in my ward are crazy for its release but the books didn't compare to Harry Potter. Maybe now I will try and be excited for the Twilight release since I think we will probably watch for a YW activity.

My friend had this posted on her blog today and I thought it was a really great idea especially since many of us have moved away from each other.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses.

++If you post one on mine, I'll post one on yours++

All the way to 8!!

I know the Olympics doesn't usually work this way...there is always some kind of big upset but here's hoping that Michael Phelps really does make it....

Matthew's personality is TOO big for our little apartment. That's all I'm going to say.

Men 4 x 100 M Free Relay...

NBC is all overprotective of the Olympics so you can't find it online (except on NBC) but it will probably be the most replayed moment of the Olympics so I am sure you can catch it if you missed it. DANG!!! What a race!! I still can't believe they pulled it off...kudos to Lezak for the swim of his life! They smashed the WR by 4 seconds. John and I were yelling so loud that Hyrum finally came down and then he got really mad at us because he had missed it. Hyrum has been really loving the Olympics I really likes to watch "our team" win.

We have really been enjoying the Olympic swimming. There are some amazing swimmers!! It makes me feel like busting out a 400 IM until I realize that at about 25 m I would start to feel tired, at 50 m I would start to feel the burn and by 100 m I would probably need to stop at catch my breath and then I would still have my two hardest strokes to go...maybe I could work my way back up to a 400 IM ;) Maybe....

Wall Arch

It fell...they say it was a "natural" fall and was not caused by anyone. The last time I saw the arch was when John and Becky and I hiked that trail after we were ditched by Sam and Andrea ;) I tried to upload the picture of John and I in front of it but it said the file was corrupted...
Hopefully we'll get the boys there before Delicate Arch goes ;)

Confession 2...

You have to admit to yourself that you are a complete dork when you are looking through a book list of books to read and see one titled "Songs Without Words" and instantly think why would anyone put piano music on a book list. Then you become a bigger dork when it takes a good 10-15 seconds and many puzzled thoughts in your head before you realize that it is an actual title of a book and that it has absolutely nothing to do with Mendelssohn or the piano. I've been married to John too long ;)

I reload my blog page a couple of times a day just to read The Office quotes....

Hyrum turned 6 today and we are all happy we all made it to this birthday. Some years seemed really long!! He has loved getting all the fun messages and calls and letters....

I know that everyone has a different opinion on weather but I have to tell you that I loved looking up the 10 day forecast today. Not a 90 in sight...not even an 85. I am so excited to have an autumn.

So life is all crazy and messed up now for many reasons but lets not focus on those. Let's talk about the best part of this coming week...The Olympics start. I love the Olympics. I know that in the off years I don't follow all the sports all the time but still when the Olympics come around I can't help but watch as much as possible. I still remember moving the TV into my bedroom when Salt Lake had the games. I was pregnant with Hy and Josh and I played on the bed and watched the Olympics all day (shhhh, don't tell John). I had to do it because it was SLC but I don't think I will take it that far this year (plus I am not pregnant so I don't feel the need to lie down all the time). Anyway....YEAH, the Olympics are starting and I am going to try and ignore all the implications of China hosting them and just enjoy.
