It begins...

So, we made it. I am NEVER moving again. We are enjoying the expanded space but are excited to get our stuff back. It is all in storage till the house closes which should be soon. Last night we walked with John's brothers and sister over to see it. Our computer was packed up almost 2 weeks ago and my access has been very limited but it is nice to take a break. I forget to catch up on so many things though...it seems like there are so many things like that in life now. Things seem to slip through the cracks if I don't write them down or I don't have some form of google to remind me :) I am so glad moving is over. WHAT A PAIN! I am ready to be settled for a good long time. As we have been taking walks over the last few days I cannot believe how beautiful Utah Valley is. There is always something amazing about every place a person lives but no matter how crazy Provo is, it is SPECTACULAR. I can't wait for spring but I am not quite ready to say goodbye to winter because the mountains looks so incredible with snow. Boys are enjoying school and John is so happy with his job. He technically doesn't start till Mon but has spent all his time down on campus setting everything up and getting to know everyone. I think it is a good sign when a person is really happy their first week on a job. Usually the first few days are hard but they have been great so far. John and Joe have, of course, managed to damage expensive BYU equipment already. I am sure there will be many more on campus shenanigans among the Prince children :) Happy to be done, grateful for so many blessings...all we have left now is real life :)

First Love...

Before there was John there was snow. I love snow, especially when it is falling...not so much when it is brown/black and slushy on the road. We will still have snow but we won't get the amazing snow totals like we have in Boulder.
Really, can anything be more beautiful (minus precious newborn babies :)

Love...

In general I try not to embarrass my family on this blog....with the exception of Brant but I consider that okay since he never reads it ;)
Anyway, at risk of embarrassing my sister, I would like to announce that she is getting married!! Since so many of you know her I thought you might like to know. The wedding is planned for the end of May and she is marrying a nice young man from St. George/Fillmore. I am also happy to announce that he seems absolutely smitten with Jet. His name is Patrick Moody which will make her Jessica Moody. Ah, poetic justice...Jet gets to be Moody and I get to be a Princess :) Now I just have to work on associating Patrick with the name Moody instead of associating Moody with the name Moody (the people who understand this sentence know who they are :)

A Blessing, A Birthday and a crazy time...

Today is John's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the best husband!!) and it was also Sam's blessing. Life has been pretty crazy since we found out John would be starting March 1st at BYU instead of June 1st. We have been busy trying to get everything planned and done. We have less than 2 weeks left here in Colorado and this weekend might have been the busiest yet. On Sat we cleaned the church for the final time with our favorites the Fairbanks...

Even Math and Seth like to help...

But it isn't a surprise that the Prince & Fairbanks boys all ended up wrestling in the gym!

We also had pizza and chocolate milk for John's Birthday on Saturday. We are trying to get in all the fun we can playing with our favorites before we leave.

Liesel and Cameron. Liesel is well known to be "SO CUTE" in our house and Cameron is Seth's favorite friend.

This is Hank Fairbanks...also so cute...

Josh's best friends Phillip and Luna...

This Sunday has been crazy. John and I both had to teach today and we had Sam's blessing. John had invited a lot of people from his lab so he was nervous but it was a happy and special time. Sam is probably the baby we prayed the most about. When I found out I was pregnant my other friend Emily was just about to have a boy. In a funny twist they were also going to name their boy Samuel Arthur and we joked about it all spring till she had her baby. I also had many other friends pregnant to commiserate with and it was a real blessing throughout my pregnancy :) It was not easy and there was no way I was going to have more than 4 children without some serious (I mean SERIOUS) spiritual prompting. I wasn't going to take one or two answers to prayer...it took more like 30-40 but by the end of so much prayer we were sure and reassured. We knew that we were finally going to get our Sam and I am so happy today that we made it and have the sweetest little man!! John did a great job and we were so happy to have our ward family with us as it was the first time ever we didn't have family at a baby blessing. We live in an amazing ward! We ended John's birthday with some pumpkin bars (of course)...and now I am going to watch Emma ;)

Josh finally experiencing the spit up trauma he always put us through!

Sam is finally smiling and laughing a little now...
