It would really help if you are a nerd or married to one in order to understand this conversation...
John - When I was little one of my favorite things was Sunday night when we'd make popcorn and grape juice. I'd dip the popcorn in the grape juice and sit around talking about all the happening things.
Josh - Did you sit around and talk about all the new Ruby techniques?
John - No, Ruby wasn't around back then.
Josh - Well, what was around? Python?
PS We put up the Christmas tree this weekend and it is spectacular. We figured we needed to make up for only have 1/4 a Christmas tree the last 2 years...

Oh, man. That is just great. :) Also, a 1/4 of a Christmas? What does that mean?
Sorry, I should have put "tree" after Christmas. Our apartment in Boulder was so small (850 sq feet) that the only Christmas decorations we could do was 1/4 of the branches on our Christmas tree. :)
You put up your TREE already? You pagans. :)
I was thinking of putting up our Christmas tree early this year. Glad to see I'm not the only one. And what is a Ruby and Python?
Tonia, they are computer programming languages.
Tell Josh we had BASIC and ASSEMBLY. And we ran both of 'em on DOS.
Python. Only the rich kids had Python.
Christmas can't come too early, our tree went up last Tuesday.
